Marlo 16 months; Clara 5.5

Clara- I think I have seen you age years over the last month. You look, act, and think like an older kid.  I am fascinated by your large vocabulary, use of complex sentences and thoughts, impressive problem solving skills, elaborate lego creations, bike riding speed, and natural musical ability. I love that although you are growing up, you still let me cuddle and sing you to sleep.  I love you with all my heart and then some.

I have to add my favorite story from the last month. I was helping you fall asleep one night when you were scared.  I asked you to tell me a happy memory, so you told me all about the adventures you had with your dad at the Sherwood Forest Renaissance Faire.  You then said, "Next time we go, dad wants us to dress up in costume. What am I going to do, dress up and look like a jerk or something." Gave me a laugh.

Marlo- what a bright, fast light you are.  You run everywhere you go. You have an infectious smile that melts me. You exploded with new words in the last few weeks. You say 2 word sentences. You have a funny way of communicated exactly what you want and need.  You give the sweetest cuddles and kisses. You "boop" my nose with the best comedic timing. You LOVE Annie. You dance whenever you hear music. I can't stop staring at your big eyes. I LOVE you.
