Spring Time!

It has been a fun few weeks. We have enjoyed SXSW, time with friends and family, and the beautiful Austin weather. The time I spend with you gets better every day. I am constantly in awe of your transformation into a little person. I get to witness all your new words, discoveries, abilities. There is no better privilege.

New Words: it's a word explosion. You are now stringing together two word sentences. "Mama up" "ball stuck" "pen open" and my favorite "Mama runnnn"

New Tasks: opening the front door

14 Months

New Words: raisins, baby, stick (pronounced steeeek), blanket, cheese, a variety of animal sounds (you can honk exactly like a goose), beer, nose, tongue, mouth, knee, wheel, picture, and many others I can't think of now

New Tasks: spinning in circles, singing in the car, climbing on to most chairs and couches, wiping, imaginative play, connecting waffle blocks, self play, discovering that you are in the mirror, eskimo kissing

Sweet Moments: cuddling with you in bed after a long day .. we did this for 20 minutes.. the longest you have ever sat still. i still tear up thinking about how sweet that was.. probably the happiest 20 minutes of my life.
