Holy Smokes! This year went by in a flash as I was warned it would. I am in awe of you every day and life keeps getting better. I love you beyond words, My Sunshine Girl!
The very first week into your second year of life, I have noticed lots of changes. Your speech patterns are starting to resemble sentences with vocal inflections and you sometimes repeat words accurately. You also imitate animal sounds pretty well (especially that of a pig). Your first sort of sentence is "Hi, Dad." You love music (we just started a Spanish music class) and instruments (especially percussive ones), your friend Olivia and cousin Rell, the sandbox, food, playing outside, balls, Cash the dog (not so much Townes.. he knocks you over), screws, buttons, knobs, and fasteners, turning things, and lots more. You are a very curious toddler.
