New Words: tickle, banana, taco, night-night and wake up (more like wateup), cherios, oyee (for Oli), meow, hat

New Tasks: paying attention to an entire story, spinning around in circles, stomping in your cowboy boots, snapping your fingers, closing doors (makes me feel like a mother of a pre-teen)

Moments of Sweetness: reaching your hands up for me to hold you, grabbing my face and pulling it to look straight into your eyes, kissing me out of the blue, laying your head on daddy when he comes home from work, laughing at your favorite page in your favorite book, Pigs A Plenty, saying uh-oh at very appropriate times

Almost 13 Months

New Words: uh-oh (in the cutest, little voice), water bottle (clear as day), turtle (both syllables), wee wee wee, all (you can't quite say 'the way home' yet), rockrockrock (when you push your rocking chair), up down

New Tasks: using a fork; accurately fitting a screwdriver into the head of the tiniest screw I've ever seen; stacking cups in order

Sweet Moments: cuddle times, reading books in my lap, our bedtime routine, watching you 'get' things, handing me my shoes when it's time to leave, laughing together, and your smile when you wake up in the morning
