Week 13

We have noticed big changes in your development this week!
*You seem to have more control over your hands and your ability to manipulate objects.
*You like to play with the pacifier but won't suck on it.
*You rolled over on your stomach this morning and even scooted forward a couple inches.
*You discovered your voice and love to talk to us. You have a very cute voice, btw.
*The mirror cracks you up. When you find yourself, you smile shyly at your reflection.
*You are happiest when you are out and about, although you don't really enjoy your car seat.
*You noticed your friend, Olivia, for the first time this week. You gave her a big smile.
*You favor the brown blanket Claire made. You love the little tags and manage to stick them in your mouth. You also love laying on your sheepskin rug. You relax immediately!
*Your hair is falling out and the new hairs have a reddish tint (or at least I'm secretly hoping they do)
*You still suffer from acid reflux, which makes things stink! You are so happy and wonderful when that doesn't bother you.
*You are growing pretty fast. People mistake you for twice your age!
*In parental news, mommy went on her first run this weekend, while daddy and you hung out with Phillip and Richie and Stella. Mommy even had some alone girl time with Emma.

Week 12

Clara! You are 3 months old already, and I can't believe it. Time flies so fast. You are such an amazing little baby. Some fun things you did this week: roll over (but get stuck), play with your voice, stick out your tongue when you're thinking (just like your Poppi), grab large objects and bring them to your mouth, play with all the tags on your favorite blanket, attempt to copy sounds, smile hugely at your parents. Sometimes, I just stare at you wondering how I could possibly be so lucky. I never thought it was possible to love this much. Happy 3 month bday!

Week 11

You have been such a joy, Little One. In the last couple weeks, you have discovered your hands and are fascinated! You watch them, turn them, eat them, and LOVE them! You also rolled over this week. Unfortunately, you got stuck, which made you mad.. but hey, you did it! Once you are on your tummy, you can hold your head and chest up.

In other news, our water bill this month is outrageous. Running water is a sure-fire way to calm you, so I'm okay with the extra expense. My absolute favorite thing you do is smile with your eyes. You have the most beautiful eyes and long eyelashes. Every morning we sing "Way up in the Sky"(a Zada favorite) and you smile and stretch and smile. The only other person I know who wakes up as happy as you is your daddy. I look forward to seeing your smile every morning. Here are some things we did this week:
