Marlo 1 Month

Goodness, time flies.  I can't believe you have been in our lives for a full month. You have the sweetest disposition that hasn't changed since the second you popped out.  Your cry is even sweet.  You sleep most of the day and struggle some at night.  Typical newborn stuff.  Our main woe, is  your reflux and stuffy nose.  You fight through like a champ, even when assaulted with rapid fire episodes.  It breaks my heart.  You are peaceful and then over and over again the pain jars you or wakes you from sleep.  Thank goodness for the pacifier. If we only discovered its magic with Clara, we could have saved hours of crying, sleeplessness, and pain.  As for your wakeful periods, you stare wide-eyed at the fan, at any face (especially your sister's), and black & white flashcards, undisturbed by the constant noise and chaos of a 9 creature household.  Your sister has been helpful, sweet, and calm around you. To my surprise, she has been very maternal. Mimi would love to see all the love, laughter, and joy in our home.  I play you old videos of her, so you can hear her sweet voice.  You will grow up with her. She's in you (especially your chin and mouth while you sleep!) and I will keep her memory alive all around you. I love my Marlo Rose and Clara Jane.  I feel very blessed!
